“Arthur” is instantly catchy, making it a perfect indie-pop dance track. John showcases his affinity for creating a playful song full of sampled sounds and groovy beats. Throughout, John tells the optimistic story of encountering someone and hoping to impress them. He dreams up what the romance could become and we get caught up in his fantasy. In the chorus John sings “we can get lost in it forever”, which is exactly what this song makes us want to do.

The technicolored music video for “Arthur” gives us a sneak peak into what is in store for the rest of Huron John’s sophomore album. The psychedelic visuals and vintage feel create a surreal daydream that compliments the mood of the track. At the end of the video John teases even more new music, leaving us excited for what’s to come next from Cartoon Therapy.
