Premiere: Caroline Kingsbury's "Remixes From Heaven"

Bad Wreck Team

LA queer indie-rock artist, Caroline Kingsbury, releases a Remixes From Heaven EP. Kingsbury’s project is a compilation of newly remixed versions of the hit tracks off her debut album, Heaven's Just A Flight. The songs are transformed to a more rock-dance and ethereal feel, in collaboration with DJ Josh Lumsden, Arlie, and Peter Matthew Bauer.

The tracks are freshly renovated to define and accentuate Kingsbury’s rich voice. The remix from Peter Matthew Bauer of “Breaking Apart” has completely changed the song to a more mellow, slower electro feel than the original.

Kingsbury notes, “Remixes From Heaven is the dreamy echo of my debut album Heaven's Just A Flight. I took some of my fan's favorite songs off the album and either stripped them down or completely flipped the instrumentation to create an entirely new version. After releasing my debut during COVID I wanted to make sure I also included a dance version of “Kissing Someone Else” (Remix by Josh Lumsden) just in time for Pride 2022."
