The artist brings forth angelic synths and a bedroom beat that encapsulates the feelings of time we spend by ourselves. Luna Li demonstrates her incredible talent through a guitar riff that immediately drew us in. In under two minutes, Luna Li transports us into her muse with soft and welcoming vocals.

The repetition of the phrase ‘Alone But Not Lonely’ is evident yet comforting throughout the song. Luna Li says it’s “a mantra I use to remind myself that time I spend with myself is valuable and special, something that should be celebrated.”

She captures the feelings behind the track with a visually appealing music video where she dances and creates a “mythical workshop” to craft globes. This motif was said to highlight the concept behind individuality within every person in the world. Luna Li hopes that “people can dance alone in their rooms to this song and feel joyfully connected to themselves.”

This upcoming fall, Luna Li will kick off her first tour while supporting Japanese Breakfast in the US. In the meantime, we’re looking forward to more magical tracks on Luna Li’s debut album coming soon.
