Rising Band wilt Will Keep You Around with New Single “moved along”

wilt is an LA-based indie bedroom-rock band composed of Chelsea Rifkin, Aaron Liebman, Andrew Perrea, Daniel Bermudez, and Jake Shpiner. After only debuting in November of last year, wilt has already amassed astounding popularity. While “moved along” will only be their fourth single, it will surely receive undeniable acclaim.

Pulling you in with the echoes of the mellow guitar, wilt demands attention with lead singer Rifkin’s powerful vocals. Despite her already assertive yet harmonic voice in the first verse, Chelsea’s vocals only grow through the chorus with a hypnotic vocal riff that perfectly complements the equally striking instrumentals.

The band carries this energy throughout the song as they end the track with more addictive vocal riffs. Specifically, guitarist Andrew Perrea notes, “It stands out from the rest of our catalog because of the lo-fi, garagey feel.”

wilt plays with the juxtaposition of familiarity and the unknown with their latest single, “moved along.” Despite the song’s message about the all-too-familiar feeling of losing a relationship, the style deviates from their past releases.
