The 24-year-old bedroom pop artist Dora Jar returns with a new single “Bumblebee” showcasing her eccentric talent over a buzzing track. Her most recent EP, Comfortably In Pain dropped earlier this year comprising an array of standout and well-written tracks.

“Bumblebee” is a bouncy single about making light of a situation from an insect’s perspective, a creature who can see a higher frequency of light and serves vital in nature. Jar states, “The song is an attempt to escape the painful reality of human experience and trade it with the perspective of a bumblebee. My problems seem silly when I remember the existence of these intelligent creatures who could never be bothered by the trivial things that bother me.”

Jar pairs the sting of the track with an official music video featuring the artist herself and local dance students. The whimsical and playful visual accentuates the artist’s creative eye by matching the song's meaning.

Dora Jar will make her way across North America on her first headline tour this fall! As a rising indie pop star, we’re eager to watch Jar perform her impressive discography and see what else she has in store.
