Indie music lovers congregated in Pasadena on May 13, 2023 for a spectacular day jam-packed with performances at Goldenvoice’s Just Like Heaven festival. This year’s event featured sets from some of the 2000’s most loved indie artists. Between two stages, the Brookside at the Rose Bowl became home to artists and fans alike creating an unforgettable experience.

Festival goers gathered at the Orion stage for an iconic performance from headliner the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

A true highlight of the night was MGMT’s live rendition of their 2007 breakout album Oracular Spectacular. Joined by dancers and a children’s choir the band brought new life to the record.
A skit in between songs chronicled MGMT’s early days as college students and paid homage to their experimental start.
Empire of the Sun hit the main stage for a sunset set that made everyone ascend with their entrancing visuals – performing hits like “Walking on a Dream,” “Alive,” and more.
Peaches delivers a striking performance on the Stardust Stage, showcasing fearlessness and true artistry.
The Bravery gives a dose of rock to an energetic crowd, signaling a true comeback for the band.
