MOTOR FUNCTION is consistent and pleasantly carefree. The emotional yet groovy clarity found within the four tracks on the EP is what binki is admirably known for. On his track “Landline” the artist delivers the hypnotic chorus of “I wanna be the only one you need.” Alongside the lyricism, the fierce beats throughout the track are exhilarating.

The fourth track, “Invisible Fence” is paired with a music video that showcases the artist’s bright character. The flashy colors and props in the video capture the essence of the song. binki raises the statement, “I’ve been easing on the gas, need some balance.” The other tracks on the EP are just as full of thrilling lyrics.

The collection of songs have created a unique impression in our heads. Start to finish, the EP leaves us feeling energized with a sense of funk to start our day. From punk to disco, binki balances a perfect end-of-summer soundtrack in MOTOR FUNCTION
