Bleachers Take the Sadness Out of a Friday Night

Sam Plascencia

Bleachers performed a sold-out show from their Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night Tour at The Hollywood Palladium with support from Claud. Fans, old and new, were eager to enter the venue and watch the band light up the stage. Jack Antonoff’s energy rippled from his bandmates to the crowd that Friday night. The magic of the room was soundtracked by songs we hold close, from “I Wanna Get Better” to “I Miss Those Days”. The night ended with the entire crowd chanting lyrics from “Stop Making This Hurt,” which was an electrifying moment to an unforgettable set.

Claud opens up the show with tracks off their recent album, Super Monster.

Euphoria fills the room as the crowd watch Bleachers perform.

Jack Antonoff and multi-instrumentalist Evan Smith take on the next song beside one another, creating the perfect duo.

The crowd cheerfully sings the lyrics back to Antonoff as he motions the mic towards fans.

Bleachers took over the ballroom at the iconic Hollywood Palladium, filling Antonoff with unmatched emotion.
